1. Who we are
Quantum System ("we") develops software and mobile apps such as LingOnline. Quantum System Account (accounts.quansystem.com) is one account that works in all of our apps, similar to a Google account: you sign up once and use the same username and password everywhere.
Quantum System is the data controller for Quantum System Account and this website. Each app may also keep its own data (for example LingOnline scores and games); that app explains it in its own privacy policy.
2. Data we collect
We only collect what is needed to run your account:
- Account details: username, email address, first name, last name and preferred language.
- Password: stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody, including us, can read your password.
- Google or Microsoft sign-in: if you choose it, the provider sends us a unique account ID, your email address and your name. We never see your Google or Microsoft password.
- Connected apps: which of our apps you use with your account and when you gave permission.
- Security records: sign-in times, IP address, device and browser information, and failed sign-in attempts.
3. How we use your data
- To create your account and let you sign in to our apps.
- To share your username, name and email with an app only after you allow it.
- To send account emails such as verification and password reset codes.
- To protect accounts against misuse, fraud and unauthorized access.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not build marketing profiles from it.
5. Legal basis
We process your data to provide the account you asked for (performance of a contract), to keep it secure (legitimate interest) and to comply with the law (legal obligation), in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6. Who we share data with
We share data only as far as each purpose requires:
- Our apps that you have allowed to use your account: username, name and email address.
- Service providers that run the service for us: our server provider, Cloudflare (network security and delivery) and Amazon Web Services (account emails, EU region).
- Google or Microsoft, only when you choose to sign in with them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside your country. In that case we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.
8. How long we keep data
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your account data is permanently deleted. Security records are kept only as long as needed for security and legal obligations, then deleted.
9. Security
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as hashes, password reset uses short-lived one-time codes, and access to systems is restricted to authorized staff.
10. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw a permission you gave to an app. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or to the data protection authority in your country.
11. Deleting your account
In our apps, open Settings and delete your account. You can choose to remove only that app's data (your Quantum System Account stays for our other apps) or to delete your Quantum System Account completely. You can also email [email protected].
12. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. Where the law of your country requires it, children must use them with the permission of a parent or guardian.
13. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The account site (accounts.quansystem.com) uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in securely.
